Standing outside on my deck looking up at the sky. Happened to see a star, (to the right of Orion) started to move down the horizon. Stopped for a moment, then seemed to ascend away from earth and disappeared.
Not sure what I saw but all I can say is it resembled a star. Not the bightest, but bright enough to look like one. No flashing lights, just a solid light until it left or faded away.
This was witnessed from Harrisburg, PA at around 6:30 PM on 2/20/2012.
First time I have ever seen something like this. It was no plane that's for sure.

The incredible events that I am about to tell you are completely and totally true and I have tried to be as accurate as to the details of the happenings of that night and to try to compile the stories of all that were involved into one story.
The date was Friday August 19th, 2011 and we were heading out for a weekend of camping, hiking and fishing in Wisconsin on some land that belonged to my family. Going on the trip was my older and younger brother as well as my best friend, my older brother’s best friend and his girlfriend as well as my younger brother’s girlfriend and one of her friends. This was going to be our last chance to get away for a weekend before the fall semester of school began. We packed up my truck with all the gear and I followed my brothers SUV to our destination.
We arrived in the early afternoon and began to unpack all our gear and haul it toward the cabin that stood in the middle of that the property next to a small lake. After a couple of hours of setting up we had everything ready and were soon enjoying ourselves as we all went for a refreshing swim in the lake. As evening approached, we set up our campfire and sat around it making dinner and discussing our upcoming year of school. Around 10pm we had saw a bright object flash across the sky, the object was a brilliant blue and it lit up the entire sky for a second or two as it streaked across the sky. It faded out and eventually we lost sight of it. Everyone was buzzing about it and we thought we had seen a large meteor streak across the sky. We talked about it for a bit, and then it was quickly put aside as we talked about other things.
As midnight approached, we each were starting to retire to our tents, I whispered to my girlfriend if she wanted to go back to our tent for some private time, I never got to finish that sentence as my eyes quickly caught sight of something that was coming over the trees on the opposite side of the lake. I stood up quickly and called for my brother, who replied that he was a little busy at the moment and for me to go away. I called to him again and got a sigh of exasperation and the same response that he currently was busy doing something. I then yelled again and told him that it was important and he better get out here and see this. By then my best friend and my girlfriend had joined me and we all watched this object hover over the lake. My brother joined me and said “This better be important”. When he saw the object, his reaction was “What the hell is that?”
The object slowly drifted from one side to another, hovering very close to the water’s surface, the glow of the object lighting up the surrounding area and the water underneath; there was absolutely no sound from the object. My brother ran to his SUV and got a pair of binoculars that he kept there. As he got back and began to look at the object he remarked that there were no features on the object, any engine ports or exhaust coming from it. I asked him if maybe it was a small plane or helicopter that had crashed into the lake and should we call the police or the DNR for help. He replied that he didn’t think it was a plane at all. The object stayed over the water for a few about 2 minutes and then just as suddenly, it blanked out, just like someone had turned off a light switch, it was gone. Everyone stood there wondering this object had gone and trying to make heads or tails of what the hell just happened. We did notice that where the object had been over the water, it had left a faintly glowing circle on the water’s surface. It reminded me of the YouTube videos I had seen of a beach in Hawaii where the water was glowing a strange blue and green, due to some shrimp that was spawning and using bio-luminescence. Eventually after less than a minute the circle faded out and was gone completely.
This had us spooked, but my brother’s girlfriend had stated that maybe we had seen a rare form of ball lightning and nothing more. We all stayed up and talked about it for about 30 more minutes, more to try to calm our nerves. Eventually we all went to our tents for the night, but not before my brother had added a few extra logs to the fire to ensure that it kept going till morning.
Flash forward about an hour and half to two hours after we had seen the object, everyone has finally gone to sleep, I woke up to shift into a more comfortable position, the fire was still going nicely and I noticed that one of the battery powered lanterns had been left on. I was thinking I might get up and go turn it off, so as to preserve the battery. That’s when I saw the shadow of someone walk past the tent followed by another and then another and finally a fourth one. I froze and I didn’t move a muscle as I strained my neck to get a better view of these shadows.
At first I thought it was someone from our group, that went out the window fairly quickly as I realized that each of these shadows were maybe 3-4 feet tall and extremely skinny. From what I could make out, their arms were disproportionately longer than their body size, the seemed to hang down almost to their knees. They seemed to be looking around, I heard them as they shuffled back and forth amongst the campsite and then around the tents. I was praying, begging and pleading to that whatever these things were that they decided not to look inside the tents. I heard as one of them ran its hand over the fabric of the tent I was in. Luckily for me, that was as close as they came, within 10-15 minutes of their appearance they again left, same as they came into the camp, once right after the other in what seemed to be single file line.
About ten minutes after that, I saw the first flash of lightning followed by some thunder. Within 5 minutes we were in the midst of a summer thunderstorm. The sound of rain hitting the tent never sounded as soothing as it did now. I drifted off to sleep and was awoken by my brother in the morning to say that he thinks that raccoons had gotten into the camp site and had moved some of our stuff around. I told my brother the story and he laughed and said that I might have dreamed it; my youngest brother also said the same thing. Something told me that I had to not dream it and I decided to write this down and submit it. The rest of the weekend was uneventful and we came home Sunday afternoon and I have never seen anything like the ball of light we had seen over the lake that night, nor the shadows we had seen again.
Thank you for your time and for reading my submission!

1992 Going to work at Edwards AFB on Hiway 395 bteween Adlento and Cramer Junction. It was about 2-2:30 AM Starry night. I observed a very lager UFO moving north. I noticed the object when my vehical stopped running. I got out to see what the problem might be and to my left and up I noticed the stars were not visible. I started looking and noticed a very large slow moving object. It was about 500 ft to 1 mile away. It was a shape of a delta wing, but the front or nose was cut off flat. It was about 1000 ft across and length of 3-400 ft. no lights, sound. This vehical was way too large to be moving that slow and still flying. It continued north towards Ridgecrest until it was out of sight over the mountains. The siting lasted about 10-15 minutes. My vehical started and I continued to work, I asked coworkers if anyone had seen anything, they had not.

Shape: Boomerang
Duration: 01:00:00
Distance: Unknown
My father and I had just visited with my mother, in her nursing home, and were on our way to pick up fast food and then go to his home on the near south side of Indianapolis. It was around 7:00 pm 1-9-12. The sky was very clear and the moon very bright. We were talking about how beautiful the full moon looked and the fact that it was hard to see the stars when in the city. We were driving north then turned west. After turning west, still talking about the way the stars look like out in the country, we noticed a bright spot a little south of direct west. It seemed to be way to high to be a light on a tower or building. We drove 12 to 14 blocks west discussing what it might be, even stopping at a red light and watching it, commenting on how it never moved. While at the stop light, a jet flying very low passed in the distance to the west of us moving from the south to the north. It was WAY lower than the light. The jet was close enough to make out the details of the shape.
The "light" seemed to both of us to not cast any beam of light but to just be in the shape of a lighted upside down V. Dad commented on the fact that the Indianapolis airport was to our south west and it might be a helicopter but I thought it was farther west than the airport and it just stayed too still. It was so far away it just looked like a VERY bright star. We turned left (south) and had gone another 2 blocks when another light appeared rising straight up to almost level with the first light. It looked like the same size and brightness. We pulled into a fast food place, bought sandwiches and sat there a minute or two watching both lights just hang there. We drove home (maybe 5 minutes) with the lights to our back.
When we pulled up at dad's house my car was parked facing west and we sat there for maybe 2 minutes, watching, noting that the second light had not moved. The second light then began to move and we got out of the car and stood on the street watching. The second light moved east and in a wide arc. It was still somewhat south of us but as it reached a point a little south east of us the arc got a bit tighter and it was then headed north east. It passed to the east of us and when it did we got a clearer look at it. It was still so high that we could not make out real details but it had a longish shaped body and was blunt on both ends.
There were 4 yellowish, round, lighted areas on the back end stacked 2 on top of 2. There were 2 white lights on the front, about the same size as on the back, sitting side by side and the wings were boomarang shaped with a smaller light-blue light near the tip of each wing. None of the lights blinked. The wings seemed to not come out the side of the body but be on top of it. It moved very fast and there was no sound. It dissappeared into the north east within seconds. The origional light was still in the same place when I went to bed at 10:00 pm but was gone at 5:00 am when I got up for work. I don't think me or my dad were frightened in any way. We just felt puzzeled.

Distance: One mile or less
I was sitting on my quad in the field behind our house. The sky diving club was jumping today, which they do often, the airport is just down the road. As I was watching them come down I saw what looked like the top of a big white ball hiding in the pine trees. After about 30 seconds it stated to rise above the trees and started to slowly move southwest. As the white ball, it looked like a 15 foot ball, got over or almost over Williamston it shot up and was gone in a blink. The UFO made no noise at all and for whatever reason as far as I know that was the last time they jumped at this airport.

1. Where were you and what were you doing at the time? I was outside Ready To Pack Up the camera I was in my Backyard and the time was exactly 8:00pm, I had Just Finnished Filming The Stars and I put my Sony Handycam 8mm on Stanby. 2. What made you first notice the object? I was Facing East and I had my camera and my Tripod Infront of me. I was just looking about at the different Constellations and In the right corner of my right eye I saw a yellow light. 3. What did you think the object was when you first noticed it? At First I though it was a plane due to the colour, but when I turned my head to the right facing South and Looked at the object. 4. Describe the object and its actions and motions in detail. When I first got a look at the object. It was a massive Black Triangle with 3 yellow-orange sorta dimmed out lights on it. As it flew from South To north Directly over me. As it was Directly over me a Blue-ish glow Appeared and Radiated around the edges of the craft. The Craft was massive. If the moon was directly above me it would have covered it. It made no noise and it didn't even create a draft. 5. Describe your feelings, reactions and actions, during and after sighting the object. My Initial Reaction was nothing I froze in shock and I had major Goosebumps all over my body I just looked at it as it flew over me with my mouth open. After it went off into the distance I was soo over Joyed I'd seen it I yelled out "I Saw a Triangle" a Couple of times. 6. How did you lose sight of the object? It went off to the north. And just got smaller as it went into the distance
